Science and the people behind “making science happen” have always been of interest to me. After studying food chemistry in Hamburg/Germany I ended up writing for German publications out of Silicon Valley/California. Everything from astrology to zoology has fascinating aspects, which I like to make visible to a broader audience. Finding that “right language” is a very creative and rewarding process to me. I especially enjoy meeting the people behind their fascinating research. From students to nobel-prize laureates – I have interviewed scientists from many different walks of life and specialties. All of them share enthusiasm and creativity for their work, which inspires my writing.
